The Plan of Salvation

    As death reigned from Adam until Moses, and over all (Romans 5:14); God had a way for mankind to be redeemed from the scourge of sin by the death of His only begotten Son.

Question # 26. How does God reveal His love? Answer 1 John 4: 9 - God sent his only begotten Son into the world. John 3:16 (NIV) - He gave His only begotten Son. Question # 27. For all who believe in His Son have eternal life, those who do not believe, what will be their fate? Answer John 3:18 (NIV) - They will be punished for not believing. Question # 28. Since we really need to believe in His Son, how can we be saved? Answer Romans 10:13 - Whoever calls on the name of the Lord.

Question # 29. Calling on His name for not doing what He said, is that enough? Answer Luke 6:46 - It is not enough to only call His name but also by doing His will.

Question # 30. What good thing must a man do to get eternal life? answer: Matthew 19:17 (NIV) - If you want to enter life, keep the commandments. NOTE This rich young man already knew the Lord Jesus, His calling to him or inquiring, indicates that he too wants to have eternal life.

NOTE     It is God’s intention for man to be reconciled to Him through Christ. They were the apostle Paul once entrusted with it. This is already stated in his letter to the Ephesians. This is God's plan for man to be restored to Him. He must be part of the same body. The Church of God. Not to form a group that would be different from the group to which the apostle Paul belonged.
